Instruction to Authors
All authors are advised to read first the following policies before submitting an article to a journal and agree to its Copyright and Licensing Policy Authors who publish with this International Journal of Science Medical Health Research and Bioallied Sciences (IJSMHRBS) journal agree to the following terms and conditions:
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License Creative Commons CC that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.
Authors continue to retain publishing research articles and having rights in this journal without any restrictions.
Articles in the International Journal of Science Medical Health Research and Bioallied Sciences journal are Open Access articles published under the Creative Commons CC BY License Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License Creative Commons CC. This license permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work and source are properly cited.
Review Policy for reviewing articles: The journal follows a double-blind peer review policy for all articles. Once the article is received, it is forwarded to our two reviewers after removing the names of authors and their affiliations. Authors are also not informed names of reviewers. Reviewers send their comments in due course of time and these comments/ queries are forwarded to authors to make corrections or offer explanations. Once the reviewers are satisfied with corrections in manuscripts or explanations given by authors, authors have conveyed the decision of acceptance of the article. If author/s refuses to make corrections as suggested by reviewers, the manuscript is rejected for publication.
Plagiarism checking policy: The journal has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. We regularly use the software Dupli checker for the detection of plagiarism.
The Journal follows ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journals Editor) guidelines. Authors are requested to visit ICMJE how to prepare an article.

Open Access: In case of acceptance after peer review, you may choose to publish your article under Open Access terms. Open Access means that everyone around the world can read and download your article for free.
The manuscript should be in English and prepared on the following guidelines:
Title of the study: The title should be brief and concise, specific, informative, and self-explanatory.
Authors: Names of authors to be typed, unaccompanied by their degrees, titles, etc. Superscripting must be done to number authors.
Address of the institution where the work was carried out be given below the name(s) of the author(s). Present address of correspondence should be given indicating by an asterisk the author to whom the correspondence is to be addressed.
Abstract: Abstract should be written in 5 parts: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion. The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory, briefly present the topic, state the scope of the experiments, indicate significant data, and point out major findings and conclusions. The Abstract should be about 200 to 250 words. Standard nomenclature should be used, and abbreviations should be avoided. No literature should be cited.
Keywords: Abstract would be followed by keywords not more than 5 that will provide indexing references should be listed and in alphabetical order.
Original Article:
Introduction: The introduction should be brief, and the review of the literature should be pertinent to the theme of the paper. Extensive review and unnecessary detail of earlier work should be avoided. At the end of the introduction, the author has to mention the study’s main objectives.
Materials and Methods: It should inform the reader about appropriate methodologies like Study Design, Population, participants, study period, study variables, sampling procedure, sample size calculation, any methods adopted in the particular study, inclusion and exclusion criteria, study tools, data collection, data management, statistical analysis (tests) and level of significance. but if known methods have been adopted, only references be cited. It should comprise the experimental design and techniques with the experimental area and institutional with a year of the experiment. Authors need to indicate when (year/period) and where (university/institute) the present experiment was conducted.
Results: It should be elaborated and to avoid repetitions. The results should not be repeated in both tables and figures.
Tables: Table numbers should be followed by the title of the table, Line drawings/photographs should contain figure number and description thereof. The corresponding number(s) of Tables, Figures, etc should be quoted in the text.
Discussion: The discussion should be compared with other previously published articles and relate to the significance of the observations.
Conclusion: The conclusion is to write on the basis of your particular study.
Authors’ Contributions: Who did what? and mention the author’s names like below:
Murugan Prabakaran as MP; Ahmed Al Mohammed as AAM…. and etc.
Acknowledgment: The authors should mention here (in this part) those who are really helped to the study. Don’t mention here the contributors’ names or author’s names.
Ethical Approval: Clearly mentioned in the manuscript with including institutional research committee approval number (if applicable) after the materials and Methods
References: The author should use the citations and references in the following ways.
Examples:

A List of all the references quoted should be provided at the end of the paper. It should be prepared alphabetically with the surname of all the authors followed by these initials and year of publication in brackets. The titles of the articles should be mentioned. Full journal name should be used and be typed in italics. Volume numbers need to be in bold type and pagination in normal type.
Page/Line Number: Authors are requested to mention Page number and Line number to each line in the MS for easy and quick review. Text Alignment, line spacing, word count, figures, tables, etc must be as per format. Kindly go through below sample paper for references.
The journal invites the following kinds of submissions:
(a). Full-length articles (not exceeding 3,000 words including references but excluding Tables and Figures).
(b). Short theoretical articles (not exceeding 2,000 words including references).
(c). Review Articles (not exceeding 6000 words).
Send one file only including Text, Tables, Figures, and Legends.
